Heycroft Consulting was set up in 2018 by Katie Heyward, out of a desire to help smaller charities achieve their potential in a crowded funding marketplace.
Having worked in the Third Sector for 21 years, Katie has raised tens of millions for the causes she’s represented. She has been fortunate enough to fundraise for a real variety of charities – both in terms of size and cause. She has extensive experience leading teams and has also worked as a sole fundraiser establishing income streams for the first time.
Katie specialises in writing and implementing strategies for small charities and she focuses on trust fundraising. She excels at bid writing, research, strategic leadership and management.
Katie has a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and is experienced in providing bespoke training, mentoring and group supervisions to fundraising teams.
